It's very hard to determine if a specific person gave you something like herpes. It may not show up for a while and you may not know you even have it. Accusing someone is a slippery slope.

Thats part of the stigma unfortunately. That all STD patients are just a bunch of whores who cant control themselves. You can get STDs and even cold sores anytime even if you are not a "whore", and of course in the case of HIV not even from sex (drug use, blood transfusions). All it takes is one encounter. No one intends to go out and get STDs either. Its an unfortunate part of being a sexually active person. I hope you can change your judgement towards it. r73 Decades ago, they used to teach that HSV-1 was the most common strain for oral herpes and HSV-2 was most common for genital herpes. That kept getting repeated throughout the age where most adults engaged in oral sex. Today, its common to get either one (or both) around the mouth, genitals, or butthole. And you can actually get it on other parts of your body.
