Everett Shooting – Although we are still gathering information, it appears that a man in his 30s was shot after getting into some sort of altercation with another man while he was watching a youth football game at Everett Memorial Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The game was being played by younger children. Young youngsters were participating in the game being played.
Just before 4:00 p.m., officers responded to allegations of a person having been shot, according to Ora Hamel, a spokesman for the Everett Police Department, who told MyEverettNews.com that officers were dispatched to the scene. Everett was the location, as stated by the representative, where the event took place. The victim called for medical assistance.
Which resulted in him being brought to Providence Regional Medical Center so that he could receive care for the wounds he incurred. It was determined that the injuries that he had incurred did not in any way pose a threat to his life. According to Hamel, the investigators believe that the two suspects knew each other, and the shooting took place closer to the entrance to the field than it did in the stands or the stadium itself.
In other words, the shooting occurred outside of the venue. There are speculations going around that the gunman left the scene of the crime in a vehicle following the occurrence. The Youth League has made the decision to not continue with the remaining games scheduled for the evening; as a result, those games have been canceled. As of the time that this article was written, the investigation had not been concluded, and nobody was in custody at this point in time.
