Vic Stasiuk was a professional ice hockey left winger and coach from Canada. Vic Stasuik was a devoted father to his children: Vanessa, Elsa, Victor Jr. and JaeJae.

Vic Stasiuk died in a Lethbridge Nursing Home on May 7, 2023, at the age of 93.

From 1959 to 1963, he was a member of the National Hockey League, and from 1969 to 1973, he was a coach.

Vic Stasiuk played for the Boston Bruins from 1955 to 1961 after being acquired from the Detroit Red Wings, with whom he won three Stanley Cups in 1952, 1954, and 1955.

Stasiuk scored 20 goals or more in four consecutive seasons with Boston from 1957 to 1960, including a career-high 29 goals and 68 points in 1959-60, when he was named an NHL All-Star.

Stasiuk scored 183 goals, had 254 assists, and had 437 points in 745 games over 14 NHL seasons with Detroit, Chicago, and Boston.

He went on to have a lengthy coaching career, including 307 games as the head coach of the Philadelphia Flyers, California Golden Seals, and Vancouver Canucks.

Stasiuk coached the likes of Bobby Clarke, Bernie Parent, and Rick MacLeish during his stint in Philadelphia.

Vic Stasiuk was inducted into the Ukrainian Sports Hall of Fame in 2018.
